走出婚姻情傷 鄉村歌后Jeannie C. Riley再婚

以演唱Harper Valley P.T.A.一曲成名的鄉村歌后Jeannie C. Riley，8月19日禮拜天在田納西州Franklin再婚了，新郎是他兒時的玩伴Billy Stames。1968年由Tom T. Hall寫的 Harper Valley P.T.A.是一首有趣的歌，故事是說單身的Johnson太太的女兒從學校帶回家一張字條，上頭寫得是家長會對她穿迷你裙、和男人出遊及其他很多行爲不滿， Johnson太太氣得跑到學校掀桌子，並斥責他們之中有人假道學，也幹一些見不得人的事。Harper Valley P.T.A.這首歌一夕成名，在流行歌曲排行榜得到冠軍，在鄉村歌曲排行榜則得到第3名，這個紀錄直到1981年才由Dolly Parton的9 to 5超越，而且Harper Valley P.T.A發片四周就得到金唱片，她是少數鄉村歌星能獲主流的Grammy獎提名最佳新人獎和年度唱片的，Jeannie C. Riley後來獲得當年Grammy最佳鄉村女歌星獎，自1968-1976年Jeannie C. Riley在鄉村歌曲排行榜一共有23首暢銷曲。Jeannie C. RileyRiley 系1945年出生於德州Stamford，本名Jeanne Carolyn Stephenson，曾經與Mickey Riley結過婚，有一個女兒，但1990年代她因和前夫離婚而導致重度憂鬱症，她臥牀六年而且暴肥，經家人的悉心照顧下終於康復並再婚，真是可喜可賀。
